Bartholomew And Eeple

Verse 1:
one day while Bartholomew was taking a walk
he saw little Eeple being chased by a hawk
well Bartholomew yelled and the hawk flew away
and that's how they meet on that very fine day

Verse 2:
Bartholomew was lonely for a traveling mate
and as for little Eeple well he thought it would be great
to visit great cities in far away lands
from Amazon jungles to Egyptian sands

one day while exploring Bartholomew got stuck
in a cave with walls all cover with muck
well Eeple being smaller could quite easily see
just where to keep digging until Bartholomew was free
